Repulsive, Reptilian, Reprehensible: Schumer and His Senate Jackboots
Pray they "reap" their "whirlwind" come January.
This person is the very essence of the snarling, condescending, far left, absolutely and positively out of touch tyranny we are living with these days; I must note that it is the classic definition of the word “oxymoron” for the word integrity to appear in any statement uttered by this reprehensible reptile.
Schumer will allow floor debate on Mayorkas impeachment but calls for dismissal of charges
"For the sake of the Senate's integrity and to protect impeachment for those rare cases, we truly need it. Senators should dismiss today's charges," Schumer said on the Senate floor.
“ … to protect impeachment for those rare cases, we truly need it.” Thus sayeth the leader of the party which impeached President Trump twice for absolutely nothing, with the second one coming after he had left office.
This coming from the pond scum who attacked two Justices of the Supreme Court by name in front of the Court suggesting that if they reversed Roe v. Wade they would “reap the whirlwind.”
He/they make me . Physically ill. According to news reports this morning, they did not allow floor debate but immediately dismissed the charges with all 51 Democrats voting in favor of the motion to dismiss. I bow to no one in my distaste for Democrats but, unlike the Keystone Kops of the current Republican party, they do march in a strict lockstep formation. An apt analogy for 51 jackboots marching together.
I know it is regarded as near-heresy in these days of Democrat/Marxism/Socialism, but perhaps it would not be too far out of order to consult with the Constitution of the United States on the matter of the Senate’s sworn duty to conduct a trial - one of those old-fashioned, archaic proceedings, boring, long, drawn-out like, for example, the ones President Trump is suffering through right now. Here’s what Article I, Section 3 has to say :
The Senate shall have the sole power to try all impeachments.
While one would like for this provision to be just a tad more clearly written, it is important to note what it does not say: it does not say that the Senate Leader can decide on his own ipsi dixit that there will be no trial. It does not say that the majority can just decide it does not want the embarassment of having its members stand up and vote “no” indicating they are just fine with the grotesque situation at the border, hated by the average citizen, who will be watching closely. The word it does use is: try.
Here is what one observer of this tawdry scene had to say this morning:
There is no more room in our country for fools; we are full up. We have been bested by the best of fools — the U.S. Senate, in which today, mostly thanks to Chuck Schumer but really thanks to all the Democrats in the Senate, it has been made clear that no tradition, no constitutional respect, and no national empathy exists anymore on Capitol Hill. The American people are past being outmaneuvered and now stand askance, beaten down by the fools and rogues in D.C. with far too much power on their hands and far too weak to care. These senators all well know the critical jam we’re in with Biden’s open border — and today, they not only let us know they don’t care, but rub our noses in it, not even allowing our fears and our despair their day in court.

Nothing says we’re broken in America like the spectacle today on the Senate floor. A “senatorial” mockery of calmness prevailed, but, underneath, the very air was stunned by an anticipated fury from the clear and large majority of the American people, entirely betrayed and summarily dismissed, with no remedy for the border crisis that is killing us.
As implied in the statement above, it is crucial to note that this is a first for America, just one more time-honored custom and tradition dirtied and soiled like the downtown streets of many Democrat-run cities:
“Never before in the history of our republic has the Senate dismissed or tabled articles of impeachment when the impeached individual was alive and had not resigned,” said Senator Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) argued. “I will not assist Senator Schumer in setting our Constitution ablaze and bulldozing 200 years of precedent,” the senator added.
A final thought: remember the snarling, mean-spirited, unprincipled, corrupt former Senate Leader Harry Reid who got the so-called “nuclear option” passed “to lower the 60-vote threshold to 51 for approval of Executive Branch appointees (such as Cabinet secretaries) and federal judges below the Supreme Court (such as for U.S. Courts of Appeal).” Being the good, obedient little soldiers they are, they would never openly admit it, but they must have deeply regretted that act of abject stupidity when it came back to bite them, many times over.
One might even say, to quote from one of the most infamous displays of oratory in American history, they “reaped the whirlwind”!
Might there be another one coming next January? Pray.
This is what we have come to: as the terribly missed Rush called him, Chuck U Schumer!
God Help us.
With the consent of RHINOS and Republican chameleons, Mayorkas impeachment was dismissed by Schumer. Why do I say that ? I believe there is another way of removing Mayorkas from office. Impeachment is for Political MALFEASANCE so said Schumer..Elected officials. Appointed officials are to UPHOLD Federal(CONGRESSIONAL) Law they swore to uphold by their Oath to the Constitution and Bill of Rights. They CAN BE REMOVED FROM OFFICE.
Violation of their Oath and regulations.
