Mea Culpa! Turns Out I Am A Christian Nationalist! Here Comes the Black Helicopters!
As we’re well into the third year of the most dangerously incompetent (?) administration in American history, the line “just when you think you’ve heard it all” has become tattered and shop worn from overuse. But it fits the news of the new obsession of the far-left (euphemism for Marxist) and its obedient scribes in the mainstream media as best demonstrated in the following truly moronic statement from a commentator on, as Rush (RIP) used to call it, PMSNBC. You have to read it and re-read it to fully understand what happens when a Marxist is not only lacking in knowledge of basic American history but also indoctrinated to detest everything our Nation stands for:
A Politico reporter appearing on MSNBC garnered headlines because she said that (gasp!) so-called “Christian nationalists” believe that our rights come from God and not from the government. Those Christian beliefs, of course, align perfectly with Enlightenment thinking and the magnificent introduction to the Declaration of Independence. Many have seen her statement as a way to empower government. But the real stinger is hidden in the word “nationalism.” For the left, that’s code for Hitler. She just called everyone who believes in natural rights “Hitler.”
According to Heidi Przybyla, a Politico reporter, America is under attack from “Christian nationalists”:
The thing that unites them as Christian nationalists, not Christians because Christian nationalists are very different, is that they believe that our rights as Americans and as all human beings do not come from any Earthly authority. They don’t come from Congress, from the Supreme Court, they come from God,” she explained. “The problem with that is that they are determining, men, are determining what God is telling them.”
It is no exaggeration to say that one really needs to read that one line over and over again to believe an American citizen and a “reporter”, at that, could make a statement so totally bereft of even the most basic rudiments of the magnificence of the principles the Founders bequeathed to us. One has to wonder how low the standards must be to get hired at Politico, where this “reporter” works, as a two second look at the opening words of the Declaration of Independence would have shown her how abysmally stupid her statement really is:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
If she had an extra few seconds, she might have read what I think must surely be one of the most stirring and beautiful sentences ever written, the concluding words of the Declaration:
And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.

What’s more concerning is the word “nationalist.” That’s the same word Rob Reiner uses in his dismally performing “God and Country.” The headlines from reports about the movie tell it all. Here’s just a sampling (emphasis added):

And once the media latches on to buzzwords like this they will never let it go- only one example will suffice: Russia, Russia, Russia! By the way, it has officially made a comeback, just in time for the beginning of the Presidential campaign. Of course, it is as evidence-free as it was in its first iteration, but whoever said the media needed evidence, anyway?
Sorry I had to rush through this piece but I hear the black helicopters setting down in the back yard— they have the words “Thought Police” painted on their sides. But that couldn’t happen here, could it?
