It Ain’t Bragging If It’s True: LSU Baseball Team National Champions!

LSU Coach Jay Johnson after the “Miracle in Omaha” win last night over Florida:

“I believe this will go down as one of the best teams in college baseball history,” Jay Johnson said.

As LSU Grads (Law School) and fairly recent Florida transplants, we might have been thought to be a bit conflicted. 

No way, José! Once a Cajun, always a Cajun! 

It was quite a performance, especially coming right after the drubbing the team received by Florida the day before! What a comeback! 

It is so heartening, particularly in these times of lesser and venal men, to see these fine young men get the title they worked so hard to achieve!
