If Only ..........

… I could have been lucky enough to be among The Anointed (Thomas Sowell) and have been honored to labor mightily in the vineyards of truth, justice and the American way - and incidentally for myself- at the FBI. If only Her Ladyship, as she is known in these environs, had not been so churlish and inflexible about her rule that I was not permitted to “date” like all the other cool dudes I saw, and envied, lo this past half-century. If only I had not had to suffer under such an oppressive regime and denied all the pleasures of the Brave New World we find ourselves in these days, I, too, could have had a steady “date” with Lisa Page or a reasonble facsimile and together we could have plotted out an “insurance policy” to make absolutely, positively, certain that the votes of 70 million of our fellow citizens would not be honored.

But the biggest “if only” of them all— if only I had been able to live that other, charmed, beautiful life with Lissome Lisa I, too, would be heading for the bank today with my check for $1.2 Million (repeat: Million) US Dollars, paid to me by my erstwhile employer, the Department of Justice, for “illegally targeting” me for my emails which I exchanged with my “date” on a device which belonged to the exact same governmental agency and during the hours I was getting paid by the exact same governmental agency.

Why, that just sounds like absolute lunacy you might say, with substantial reason. Sounds like two entirely systems of justice, you say? Perish the thought and just get used to the Brave New World of the Biden-Harris-Mayorkas-Garland-Wray House of Mirrors where nothing — nothing!— is as it seems. One fairly good reason to accept all of this craziness is that if you don’t you may well wind up as many MAGA supporters have wound up —- in prison. Just ask Dr. John Eastman, Peter Navarro, Steve Bannon or hundreds of January 6 defendants and they will be more than happy to describe the effects of going against Leviathan.

Herewith some details from a post at American Thinker entitled FBI's Strzok-Page lovebirds get $1.2 million because they’re so special obviously written by one of those ultra-right-Qanon-terrorists who still think they can point out the absurdity of decisions of this kind by The Machine [Stops] (E.M. Forster, 1909) and that no one of us proles will notice or care:

If you are a high-level FBI official, you can also use a fake dossier paid for by Democrats as you commit perjury to the FISA court to illegally spy on Trump.  There will be no repercussions. 

If you are Merrick Garland or any other Biden official who continually lies to Congress or refuses to comply with subpoenas, you are special.  The media certainly don’t care. 

If you are a president who has illegally taken and mishandled classified documents, you are above the law because you are old and incompetent, but remember: you supposedly are competent enough to still be president. 

But if you happen to be a Republican who supports Trump or challenges an election, you will be treated like a terrorist. 

And if your name is Trump, you will be convicted as a felon for classifying legal payments as legal payments, and a worthless V.P. will continually say she is a prosecutor running against a felon. 

And you had better not be someone who thinks you have freedom to turn down a vaccine.  You will get fired. 

If only I were a person of the impeccable integrity and honor and dedication to the Rule of Law as Lissome Lisa, I could issue a press release like this with a straight face in the full knowledge that not a single memeber of the profession formerly known as “the press” will point out the vomit-indudcing wretchedness of every syllable of this statement:

“While I have been vindicated by this result, my fervent hope remains that our institutions of justice will never again play politics with the lives of their employees,” Page said in a statement to the Associated Press. 

If only I could be …..

…. I would be so proud of my achievement in conning the American taxpayer out of over a million of their hard-earned dollars.

But.. here I am stuck still believing in the Rule of Law and still believing that American citizens should adhere to ancient rules of honest conduct and - a million dollars poorer!
