What is an exercise in futility? Try this one, a headline out just a few minutes ago:
DOJ says it won't prosecute Garland after House contempt vote
As Gomer Pyle would have so succinctly put it all those years ago: Well, goooollllly! Who would have thought that the Department headed by one Merrick Garland, the Department known by the title it has earned over the last three years, the Department of [In]Justice, would decline to prosecute the —- wait for it!— head of the Department.
Whatever one’s political leanings might be and whatever the reasons for those convictions may be, one must have at least some question about whether all this “sound and fury” didn’t just, with apologies to The Bard, “signify nothing.”
Here is the article should you wish to finish up your week on a querulous note as this is just one more of many times over the recent years when Congress has stamped its little feet to no avail whatsoever. Does it seem that way to you, or am I not giving our Congresscritters enough credit for their many “accomplishments”?
God Bless America!
Some democratic rank and file who were doubtful of a double standard of Justice, have now been Convice that it truly exists,
others may not. Why is that so? They BELIEVE they are immune to the double standard. But that doesn't mean their families, and friends are also immune. Our system of justice doesn't allow for a 2 tier systems. Dictatorships, socialist, and communists nation state do. We must disinfect ALL THE AGENCIES of the diseases that has may them unanswerable to WE THE PEOPLE.
